The Toro 824 is a single stage, self propelled, electric start gas snowblower. It runs with a standard Toro engine, and has a displacement of  approx 252 cc. It has a fuel tank capacity of approx 0.575 gallons, an oil capacity of 0.185 ounces and recommended oil type of 5W30.

It uses wheel drive traction, with a tire height of 11 inches, and a tire width of approx 4.5 inches
